How ForkRoute works

Searching your home state, reviews, the Supper Club trail and check-in rewards are free forever. A free account is required so we can keep the app fast and protect it from abuse.

Basic (free): name, rating, distance and detour time, your hours, a Navigate button, and an automatic link to your website and menu.

Partner ($29/mo or $249/yr): custom advertised menu, live daily specials, other attractions (live music, fish fry, events), show-your-screen coupons, check-in rewards, a Featured Route Partner spot on matching searches, a chance at Category of the Month, and first consideration for Surprise me picks.

Route searches list every match in driving order — the order you'll reach them. Partners also appear in a labeled "Featured route partners" box above the list.

When several Partners are on a route, they are listed in driving order too: the one you reach first is shown first. No Partner can pay extra to jump ahead of another.

Near me searches rank by Google rating, then by distance.

Surprise me picks a random craving, then crowns the first Route Partner you'll reach on your drive (or the closest one on a Near me search). There are no star or review requirements — a brand-new Partner counts the same as any other. If several Partners are on your way, the others are shown right below as "Alternative route partners on your way" so you can choose. If no Partner is on the route, it picks the first matching stop you'll reach.

Category of the Month (for example "Fish Fry of the Month"): each month, one active Partner in each craving is drawn at random and shown at the top of every search for that craving. Every active Partner in that craving has an equal chance, with no back-to-back wins — last month's pick sits out unless it's the only Partner. Once drawn, the pick stays the same for everyone all month. ForkRoute may occasionally hand-pick a spotlight; hand picks are labeled as paid placement too. Every draw is recorded in a private log so it can be checked.

Paid placement is always labeled. Ratings and reviews are never changed or hidden for payment.

Your first state is free forever — it's the state of your first search. To search another state, unlock it: $0.99 for 7 days, $1.99 forever, or $9.99 for all 50 states plus D.C. One-time payments, no subscription. Prices are always shown before you pay.

Some food apps take a percentage of every order or charge per diner they send you. ForkRoute never does. Partners pay one flat fee — no per-order cut, no per-cover charge, no booking fees. Diners pay the restaurant directly, at normal menu prices.

Each restaurant sets its own reward rules: days, hours, once per visit day or once ever, and a daily limit. ForkRoute enforces those rules automatically. Restaurants honor their own rewards and coupons.

Partner billing is handled securely by Paddle. You can cancel any time; Partner tools stay on until the end of the paid period, then the listing returns to Basic.

One review per diner per restaurant. Reviews must be honest and about a real visit. We may remove spam, hate, or fake reviews.
